The Challenge
Replacing a Worn Patio Without Creating New Problems
The original paver patio was deteriorating and no longer giving the homeowners the usable outdoor space they wanted. At the same time, the site needed better drainage, so the project had to do more than simply replace one surface with another. The challenge was to enlarge the patio, improve runoff, and create a durable base for the new outdoor living space while keeping the finished design connected to the home and landscape.
The Solution
A Larger Patio, Better Drainage, and a More Livable Backyard
We removed the failing pavers, expanded the patio footprint, and rebuilt the area to better manage runoff before pouring the new stamped concrete. The Terracotta finish and custom wood pergola brought in the warm Southwestern character the homeowners wanted, while the larger layout created more usable space for seating, gathering, and everyday outdoor living.
